Refund policy

Effective May 20, 2026

Honest, plain-English refund terms for everything RPM Mobile Detailingbooks. If a situation isn’t covered below, contact us and we’ll work it out.

Deposit refund window

Deposits collected at booking are refundable in full up to 24 hours before the slot start. Cancel or reschedule via the magic link in your confirmation email, or contact us at owner@rpmmobiledetailing.example / (305) 000-0000.

Inside the 24-hour window, the deposit is forfeited. The travel-fee portion of any booking is always refundable, even inside the window.

Travel fee

If your zip falls outside our free zone, a per-zip travel fee is added at booking. Travel fees are refunded automatically on any cancellation, regardless of when the cancellation happens.

Workmanship — satisfaction window

If something isn’t right when we finish, tell us before we leave and we’ll make it right on the spot at no charge. Beyond that, documented workmanship issues reported within 24 hours of job completion are addressed by either:

  • A return visit to correct the issue (preferred — we want to actually fix the work)
  • A partial refund proportional to the documented defect

Send photos of the issue to owner@rpmmobiledetailing.example. We’ll respond within one business day.

Paint correction and ceramic

Paint correction and ceramic coatings are skilled trades quoted after inspection. The deposit-refund window above applies to the appointment. Workmanship is documented with before-and-after photography + paint depth measurements stored at job time.

Re-corrections inside the 24-hour satisfaction window are free if the work fails to meet the documented standard. Subsequent damage (rock chips, wash marring, accidents) is outside the original scope.

Weather, access, and on-site conditions

If weather prevents the work and we cancel, we move the appointment at no charge. If access is blocked on arrival (no parking, no power outlet available, building denies access mid-job) we will attempt to reschedule; if the customer cannot accommodate, the deposit covers the on-site time spent.

How refunds are processed

Deposit refunds return to the original payment method via Stripe. Bank settlement times are 3-5 business days depending on the issuing institution. We do not refund to a different card or account.

Disputes

Before disputing a charge with your card issuer, please contact us. We respond to direct outreach within one business day and most issues are resolved without a chargeback. Chargebacks filed without prior contact may delay any resolution.
