Information we collect

Information you give us

• Name, email, and phone when you book or request a quote
• Vehicle details (make, model, condition photos) needed to scope the service
• Service address — where the vehicle is located on the day of the appointment
• Payment details (handled by Stripe; we never see full card numbers)
• Optional photos for paint correction or ceramic coating quotes
• SMS-consent state (transactional and, separately, optional marketing) per TCPA

Information collected automatically

• Device, browser, IP, referring URL, and pages visited (standard web analytics)
• Booking-flow telemetry: which step you reached, which service you picked, anonymized completion stats
• Cookies + local storage to persist your in-progress booking, your-info draft, and consent state

How we use your information

• Confirm and fulfill your booking — call, text, or email if the schedule shifts
• Process deposits and final balances via Stripe
• Send transactional service messages (booking confirmation, 24-hour reminder, post-service thank-you, magic-link rebook on abandoned payment)
• Send marketing-style messages (reactivation reminders at ~90 days inactive, service-tier news) ONLY if you opted in
• Improve our website, troubleshoot booking errors, and prevent fraud
• Meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Stripe — to process payments. Stripe is the merchant of record for card transactions and holds card data under PCI-DSS Level 1.
• Cal.com — to manage the calendar slot for your appointment.
• Resend / Telnyx — to deliver email and SMS transactional and (opt-in) marketing messages.
• Detailingsites.agency — our site host and software provider, which operates the booking wizard and ops automation. Detailingsites.agency processes data on our behalf under a data-processing agreement.
• Law enforcement, courts, or other authorities — only when legally required.

How long we keep your data

Booking records and customer-communication logs are kept as long as needed to fulfill our work, defend against disputes, and meet tax and legal obligations. Marketing-list membership ends the moment you opt out (text STOP to a marketing SMS or reply UNSUBSCRIBE to a marketing email).

Your rights

Depending on your state (Florida or otherwise) you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete information (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt out of marketing messages at any time
• Withdraw consent to transactional SMS (we will switch to email-only for service messages)

Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, store payment data only in Stripe, restrict internal access to booking data on a need-to-know basis, and never write production secrets to disk. No system is perfectly secure; if you have a security concern, email us at the address above.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will email anyone with an active booking and update the effective date at the top of this page.
