Refund + cancellation policy
Effective May 26, 2026
This page consolidates Glass Mobile Detailing's deposit, cancellation, satisfaction, and refund terms in one place for clarity. These terms also live inside our Terms of service (sections 4-6) and apply to every booking made through our website, by phone, or by SMS. By booking a service from Glass Mobile Detailing, you accept this policy.
Deposit
- A deposit is collected through Stripe at the time of booking to secure your time slot.
- The deposit amount is shown in the booking wizard before you confirm.
- The deposit is applied to your final invoice on the day of service.
- The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel inside the 24-hour window (see below) or no-show.
Cancellation window
- Cancel or reschedule with more than 24 hours' notice → deposit fully refunded or moved to the new appointment, your choice.
- Cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice → deposit forfeited.
- No-show with no advance notice → deposit forfeited; balance is not charged.
- Weather-related rescheduling (heavy rain, lightning, hurricane warning) is at no charge from either side. Glass will reach out to reschedule.
Satisfaction guarantee
If you are not satisfied with the work performed, you must notify us within 24 hours of completionvia SMS, email, or in person. We'll return at no additional charge to address the issue. This is the primary remedy; cash refunds beyond the deposit are at Glass's discretion only after a return visit fails to resolve.
30-day mold smell-back guarantee
Every mold-remediation job carries a 30-day smell-back guarantee. If the treated odor returns within 30days of completion, we'll re-treat the affected area at no charge. The guarantee covers odor; it does not cover new mold introduced by leaks, flooding, or post-service spills.
Full refunds
Full refunds (deposit + balance returned) are issued only when:
- Glass cancels the appointment and cannot reschedule within a reasonable window;
- The service is not performed at all due to Glass's fault;
- Or Stripe or the issuing bank requires it under chargeback rules.
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Stripe within 5 business days. Depending on the issuing bank it may take an additional 3-10 days to appear on your statement.
Chargebacks
If you have any concern about a charge, please contact us first at GlassMobileDetailing@gmail.com or (626) 650-7713. We respond within one business day and will fix legitimate issues directly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us costs both sides money and slows the resolution.
