Accessibility statement
Effective May 12, 2026
MiLo Detailing is committed to making our website usable to as many people as possible, including visitors who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, or magnification. We treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a one-time checkbox.
Standard we follow
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the booking flow, primary content pages, and policy pages. This includes:
- Semantic HTML (proper headings, landmarks, lists, buttons vs links)
- Visible focus states on every interactive element
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text
- Alt text on meaningful images; decorative images marked aria-hidden
- Respecting
prefers-reduced-motionby disabling scroll animations and per-letter wave effects when set - Captions or text alternatives for content presented in video
- Responsive layout that works at 200% zoom and on mobile-only viewports
Known limitations
We're honest about gaps still being addressed:
- The 3D image gallery (dome) uses a drag-rotate gesture that benefits from sighted mouse/touch input. On mobile a "tap to browse images" toggle locks page scroll so the gesture is reachable; tile contents are also linked in alt text.
- Some autoplay videos (hero reels, service-card reels) are decorative and silent; captions are not provided because there is no spoken content.
- The floating contact widget collapses to a single button; once opened, channel buttons are screen-reader-labeled and respond to escape + focus-trap.
Requesting accommodation
If any part of our site, booking flow, or service is not accessible to you, please reach out and we'll find another way to get you booked. We routinely take phone, SMS, and email orders without requiring you to use the website at all.

We aim to respond within one business day and will work with you on a reasonable alternative within 5 business days.
Third-party content
Certain components on the site come from third parties (Stripe Checkout, Cal.com calendar, Instagram embeds, OpenStreetMap tiles). We cannot directly modify their accessibility, but we choose vendors that publicly state WCAG conformance and provide non-visual fallbacks where possible. If a third-party component blocks your access, contact us and we'll complete the action manually.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is reviewed when we ship new features. The owner-operator and the agency that maintains the site review the WCAG checklist as part of every meaningful release. This statement is dated above and will be updated as we improve.
