Single, multi-stage, or full correction depending on paint depth and condition. We measure with a digital paint-depth gauge before we touch the surface, document the work with before-and-after macros, and finish to glass-clarity. Quote required after inspection.
01 · Why
Most “polishes” just fill swirls. Ours remove them.
The cheap detail shop polishes the surface with a one-step glaze that fills micro-marring with carnauba and silicone. It looks great for a week. After the first wash, the fills strip out and you’re back to square one. Worse, if you ceramic-coat over filled defects, you lock the swirls under five years of protection.
Real paint correction removes the defects mechanically. We measure paint depth across every panel before we start (typical Miami exotic clear coat: 50 to 120 microns). We pick compounds + polishes + pads matched to the paint hardness. We work in sections small enough to keep heat under control. After a full stage, every panel gets an IPA wipe so we’re looking at the actual finish, not residue. What you see is what you get.
02 · Process
Inspect. Measure. Correct. Document.
- Inspection. Walk the car under sun light + LED. Identify swirl density, RDS count, oxidation, holograms, prior touch-up.
- Paint depth read. Digital gauge across every panel; we keep the readings so you can repeat-correct safely down the road.
- Wash + decon. Two-bucket wash, iron-decon, clay-bar pass. Surface must be contaminant-free before any rotary touches it.
- Test panel. One panel, one combo, evaluate under inspection light. Adjust pad + compound + speed before scaling.
- Stage 1 (cut). Compound + heavier pad, machine-pace controlled, panel-by-panel. IPA wipe between sections.
- Stage 2 (finish). Finer polish + soft pad to remove micro-haze from the cut. Glass-finish clarity.
- Stage 3 (jewelling, optional). Ultra-fine polish for the deepest gloss. Adds time; sometimes worth it.
- Documented walk-through. Before/after macros for each panel, paint-depth deltas, residual defect map (what we left and why), prep status for ceramic if you’re continuing.

Correction work happens out of direct sun, on a clean surface, with ambient temperature controlled enough that polish doesn’t flash too fast. We can work in a residential garage, condo parking deck, or covered driveway across Miami-Dade & Broward. We don’t correct in an open uncovered lot in July.
