what we collect
on this marketing site (detailingsites.agency): basic page-view analytics via vercel analytics, google analytics 4, and cloudflare web analytics. counts of page visits, top pages, top referrers, basic device type. no personally identifiable information is stored by us.
when you book a discovery call via cal.com, you provide your name and email to cal.com directly. we receive a notification with that info to prepare for the call. cal.com's own privacy policy applies to that data.
when you purchase a site tier, you provide your name, email, business name, and phone number through stripe checkout. stripe processes payment data; we receive your contact info to deliver the service.
when an end-customer books a service on a detailer's site we built, the detailer (not detailingsites.agency) is the data controller for that customer's name, email, phone number, vehicle, and address. detailingsites.agency acts as a data processor on the detailer's behalf for booking-flow infrastructure (cal.com calendar, stripe deposit, sms reminders).
sms messaging program
detailingsites.agency operates an sms program (toll-free us number) on behalf of its detailer customers. messages are sent only to end-customers who book a service through a detailer site we built and who explicitly opt in.
message types and triggers
- booking confirmation and 24-hour appointment reminder, sent the day before a confirmed slot.
- abandoned-deposit reminder, sent approximately 5 minutes after a customer leaves the deposit checkout without completing payment, with a link to finish.
- customer-reactivation message, sent at most once per quarter to customers who have not booked in 90+ days.
opt-in
customers opt in by checking a clearly-labeled consent box on the booking form ("text me booking updates and occasional offers from this detailer"). consent is logged with timestamp on the booking record. no message is sent without an opt-in on file.
frequency
approximately 1 to 4 messages per booking (confirmation, reminder, optional payment-recovery), plus at most one reactivation message per quarter for inactive customers.
opt-out and help
reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. reply HELP for assistance, or email support@detailingsites.agency. once you reply STOP, you will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.
cost and carriers
message and data rates may apply. carriers (at&t, t-mobile, verizon, etc.) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. delivery is not guaranteed.
data sharing for sms (ctia)
no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. all categories of information sharing exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. operational subprocessors (telnyx for sms delivery, cal.com for booking record, stripe for payment) receive only the data required to deliver the service the customer opted into, and are bound by their own data-processing agreements.

cookies
this site uses minimal cookies. google analytics 4 sets functional cookies for visit tracking. cloudflare and vercel analytics are cookieless. cal.com's embedded widget may set cookies during a booking session.
third-party services
we use the following operational subprocessors strictly to deliver our service: stripe (payment processing), cal.com (calendar bookings), telnyx (sms delivery for the program described in the sms section above), resend (email delivery), google analytics (page-view metrics), vercel (hosting infrastructure), cloudflare (analytics + cdn). each has their own privacy policy.
we do not sell personal data. we do not share mobile phone numbers, sms opt-in records, or text-message consent data with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. operational subprocessors above receive only the minimum data required to deliver the service.
your rights
you can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@detailingsites.agency. we will delete it within 30 days unless retention is required by law (e.g., tax records on completed transactions).
children
this site is not directed at children under 13. we do not knowingly collect data from children.
